What is PTA?

As the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation, National Parent Teacher Association® (PTA) provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child and the best tools to help their children be safe, healthy, and successful—in school and in life.  PTA provides parents and teachers with a way to share their experience and knowledge about children. PTA members support public education and work to improve children's health and safety. PTAs speak on behalf of children--who can't effect change for themselves--at local, state and national government levels.
The Bret Harte PTA is proud to provide for our students and to try to better the lives of children in our greater community.
