The Bret Harte PTA proudly serves the students, families, and staff of Bret Harte Elementary School in Sacramento, California. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a local unit of the California State PTA.
Our PTA is made up of parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members who work together to support our school and help every student succeed. Through volunteer efforts, fundraising, and community events, we help provide programs and resources that enrich the educational experience at Bret Harte.

Each year the Bret Harte PTA sets goals to guide our work and ensure we are meeting the needs of our school community. These goals shape the programs, events, and initiatives we organize throughout the year.
Our activities may include school events, student enrichment programs, classroom support, campus improvements, and community-building opportunities for families.
All funds raised by the PTA go directly back to supporting students and enhancing the school experience at Bret Harte.
PTA committees are where much of the work happens. These small teams help organize events, support programs, and carry out the goals of the PTA.
Committees are a great way to get involved, meet other families, and make a meaningful impact at our school. Whether you can volunteer occasionally or take on a larger role, there are many ways to contribute.
