Orientation & Ice Cream Social

Our school is hosting an Orientation for new families on Monday August 10th at 5:00pm. Following this, there will be a Meet-Your-Teacher and Ice Cream Social at 5:30pm. Meet your teacher, find your classroom, and get to meet others. PTA will be providing ice cream treats.

Decorate for 1st Day of School

Help us create a warm welcoming for students and families on the first day of school. We will be preparing decorations Monday evening after the ice cream social. These will be put out in front of the school Tuesday morning. There will be balloons, music, red carpet, and a photo backdrop.

Last Day of School – Early Dismissal

Thursday 6/11 is the last day of school and it is a shortened day. 1st-3rd Grades will be dismissed at 12:30. 4th-6th Grades will be dismissed at 12:45. All other classes dismissed at their regular times.

Dinner at Hop Gardens

Celebrate the last day of school and kick off the Summer Break! On Thursday June 11, eat dinner at Hop Gardens and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to our fundraiser to help fund activities for next school year.

6th Grade BBQ & Park Day

The sixth grade class is having a Park Day field trip to Curtis Park to celebrate their time at Bret Harte. There will be BBQ and food available for students.

Monday 6/8, 8:00am. The school is hosting a breakfast to celebrate and thank all of the volunteers this year and all of the hard work and dedication that many families have given to support our students and staff.

Volunteers are needed to help us decorate the stage for the Red Carpet Awards on Tuesday and the promotion ceremonies on Wednesday for Kindergarten and Sixth Grade. We will be decorating after school on Monday 6/8

Friday June 5th. The school will be having the end-of-year Field Day activity. 6th grade students will be running stations of activities for all classes. Many of the activities involve water play – send your kids to school with a towel and change of clothes.

Curtis Fest (rescheduled)

Bret Harte will have a table at Curtis Fest. This is a great opportunity for us to connect with our neighbors and share all the great things happening at our school. We will be hosting a child craft activity at our booth. Please sign up to help.
